White Light

Last night, after about 24 hours of being awake and a day full of activities, I went to bed around 10:00 pm.

I woke up at 3 am Sunday morning, disturbed about a dream I had.

I don’t know in what context it was, but I dreamt of a bright white light from above. It was like nothing I have ever experienced before… in real day to day life or in a dream.  It was overpowering, no heat, but it came from a central point high above and the surrounding space was dark.  There were rays emminating from it and it was not an intimidating spectacle.

But in my dream, I though about if this was the famous “White Light” everybody talks about in a near death experience. I was more curious than scared… and really ready to go.  No voices, nobody there… just the light. To a degree, I thought that my number was up and that this was it.   Hell….I didn’t even get to experience the DSL I ordered!

It’s still on my mind, the white light episode.  Perhaps my days are numbered and I’m checking out.. or perhaps it’s just a silly nonsensical dream.

But either way….wow.

Requiem for a dream, or Quantum future of Humankind in Infinite Universe

Right, I know it’s not exactly a memory. It’s not even a dream, but rather a requiem for one. I used to think that we live in infinite Universe. I do not have any scientific background to come up with theories or statements, but as a human being I reserve my rights for beliefs. Be it belief in Jesus Christ the Savour, spirit of improvisation, Santa Claus, infinity of space and time, or belief in myself, belief is an integral part of any sentient self-reflecting being.

This belief in infinite Universe was simply based on the fact that we can’t measure it.

Of course, we have data that our Universe is 13,73 billion years old (as of the last week :) ). So we can imagine a ball 13,73 billion years in radius (given the speed of light 299 792 458 m/s and length of 1 year as 31 556 926 seconds it will give us approx. radius of 13 730 000 000 x 299 792 458 x 31 556 926 = 129893055103132202840000000 meters… so you know). But, as it took me about 2 min. to come up with this calculation, this radius became roughly 3597509496 m bigger.

We reached the point there I got bored myself. The numbers are just too big too mean anything. If you go shopping and see something cost 3 pounds 99 pence you’ll think it’s 4 pounds, right? This is what called approximation. So 129893055103132202840000000 + 3597509496 and counting… is a number I can’t imagine. It’s something like Bill Gate’s fortune, numbers beyond my grasp. I think that approximation of 129893055103132202840000000 + 3597509496 is infinity. There’s no need for me to operate with such numbers. I remember reading some anthropological reports about some aboriginal tribes in Papua New Guinea. They had numbers 1 to 5, and then groups: 1 to 5 too, so everything could be shown on 2 hands.

20 would be 4 times 5; 25 - 5 times 5 . Everything that was over 25 was “many-many”, uncountable, infinity.

Alien Abduction: A Scientific Account

 Chapter 1.The beginning

I’ve decided that the time has come to speak out and tell everything that happened to me all those years ago. The full account of this story you can find in my dedicated blog here. I’ll be publishing my story in stages and I’ve also got some drawings to add when I work out how to do that.

I hope the story is entertaining, but my main aim is to make a contribution to science. For several years now I have seen papers being written and lectures being given that deal with the subject I am going to write about. At first I kept quiet about all the mistakes I could see being made, but now the time has come to speak out. However, I don’t want to say that everybody else is completely wrong. I hope in this blog that as well as pointing out mistakes I can help to confirm ideas that are right.

My subject is alien abduction. Many distinguished scientists and writers have written about this in recent years, and I believe I can also make a major contribution. Why I think this is simply because I write from extensive personal experience. But although my blog is mainly a work of science (as it deals with scientific fact), I am convinced that the best way to pass on my knowledge is by telling the story in a straightforward and honest way.

But enough in the way of introduction. Best to get on with my true account of events that took place beginning in January 1987. Continue reading ‘Alien Abduction: A Scientific Account’

Life as supernatural ability

Life is full of mysteries. I’m saying that because today I woke up, opened my eyes and started to wonder if there’s a particular reason for me being in this place now. It is a mystery for me really how did I end up in Bangkok and how is it I’m teaching at university. You could say it happenned because of the choices I made. Yes and not. It is not that I am a fatalist and believe it’s all was predestined. It’s just what sometimes I think the selection of choices we have is rather odd. Before I will explain what I mean, I’d like to share my belief. I think all human beings, realize or not, have some abnormal abilities or supernatural powers. Here are 2 examples of people with such abilities I have met in my life. You can say this pick is random. I guess it is not, as both cases made me wonder and reflect on for a long time. They left a trace. Random doesn’t exist anyway. It is something what is temporary out of our mindframe.

Once I worked as a barman in a pub for a couple of months. Probably I could stay there a few weeks more, if I wouldn’t pick up a fight on a nearly daily basis (himuliating others, in a way, is a habitual English entertainment. Having a Russian barman in their local pub, est. circa 1780 definetely was challenging tolerance of many of its patrons: it shook the picture of their world in a way). Most of the customers were regulars. It was a traditional English local pub. It means what you see the same people every day and hear the same jokes from them daily. You get used to them very quickly. “Regular” is somebody who doesn’t tell you what they want. They will tell you: “my drink, please”, as they come in and drink the same thing every bloody day. I knew most of the regulars not by names, but by their drinks. One of them was an old chap whose drink was bitter. He will be in every evening after work, will take 2 pints of Tetley’s and sit somewhere in a corner hardly saying a word to anybody, like a piece of furniture. He was there Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday were not exception apart he would come early afternoon and will have his 2 pints two times. Once I was asked by another regular, “Bacardi and a splash of Cola, no ice please”, for something like a program for horse racing. I did not have a clue there it was kept. So that chap from the corner told me to look under a pile of boxes with pool chalks and old phone books on a top shelf. I extracted what was required from under a layer of dust the size of level of snow in the middle of winter somewhere in Siberia. I was surprised and asked him how he knew. He answered: - I am coming to this pub every day for over 40 years. I was so shocked what couldn’t find anything better than ask: - Why? - Because I changed it. I lived before in Surrey, - explained he.
