Someone in Palestine observes, every now and then, bullets coming and going from the sniper towers, or that there are tanks firing to some random houses, at this moment, in the middle of a demonstration against the wall, the helicopter makes most of the sound, despite the hundreds of man and woman who are blasting their vocal cords against the live ammunition. Someone else then notices that when one of the bullets has hit someone and the body falls onto the floor, it carries all the weight of silence with it, because it is then that you can hear nothing, during those few seconds of falling, death is the silence.
You do not hear the bullet that hits you, as its sound travels slower than itself.
